This service offers a good collection of forum features but only basic posting and administration tools. We found the bravenet site easy to use and well layed out, you can easily login and manage your account, which can include a message board or other web tools like ftps, domains, emails accounts and more.
Bravenet includes spam protection and we did not receive spam posts while our message board was in use and there were no ads. The bravenet forums are good forums but lack advanced features like a spell checker, previews, profiles and file uploading. It also does not include many administration tools like member ranking, member deletion, thread locking and email lists. However, they do include basic posting features, support HTML posts, pin threading, tags support and traffic stats.
This service’s forums are basic; however, they are spam and ad free so if you need just a simple and low priced forum this may be a good option for you.
